Firestone Wide Oval RWL F70R15 Tyre

We're proud to announce the new Firestone Wide Oval Radial tyre, a product that will bridge the gap between authentic bias ply tyres and modern radials. Designed and manufactured in the USA, using new molds and materials, this tyre features authentic sidewall markings and tread pattern, with radial construction. This is the ultimate muscle car tyre! The Firestone Wide Oval Radial offers fitments of most muscle car applications. The raised white letter version, seen here, features correct sidewall markings, even down to the correct size of the letters. It's time to put a set of Firestone Wide Oval radials on your muscle car.

Genuine Raised White Letter Tyre

This is a raised white letter tyre, sometimes called RWL for short. Raised white letter tyres became common in the late sixties on muscle cars like the Pontiac GTO and high performance pony cars, like the Ford Mustang. Raised white letter tyres feature white rubber that is built into the tyre's sidewall when the carcass is being assembled. The letters are formed when the tyre is vulcanized in a curing mold, and then buffed clean to reveal bright white letters. Popular raised white letter tyres include Firestone Wide Oval and Wide Oval Radials, BF Goodrich Radial T/A, and Goodyear Polyglas tyres.

S Speed Rating

S Speed Rated: Up to 112 mph (180 km/h). Often required OE for higher performance trim level classic automobiles.

Bias Look Radial Tyre

The term "bias look radial" is something that Coker Tyre created when we introduced the American Classic bias look radial product line. This means the tyre has the appearance and the sizing profiles of a vintage bias ply tyre, with modern radial construction. This provides an original look with a smooth ride and longer tread life, compared to bias ply tyres. We offer bias look radial tyres for vehicles ranging from the 1920's through the 1970's.
